We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician with a strong background in electrical assembly, quality inspection, testing, and soldering. This position will assemble and test electrical components and systems while ensuring finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical and electromechanical components according to drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Build and install wire harnesses, cables, connectors, switches, and electrical components
- Perform electrical wiring, crimping, stripping, terminating, and routing of wires
- Perform basic soldering of wires, terminals, connectors, and small electronic components
- Conduct electrical and functional testing of completed assemblies
- Use multimeters and other test equipment to verify voltage, continuity, resistance, and proper operation
- Perform in-process and final quality inspections
- Inspect workmanship for wiring, solder joints, component placement, and assembly defects
- Troubleshoot failed assemblies and assist with identifying electrical or mechanical issues
- Document test results, defects, rework, and quality findings
- Follow established quality procedures, safety requirements, and production standards
Qualifications
- 2+ years of electrical, electronic, or electromechanical assembly experience preferred
- Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions
- Experience with electrical testing and basic troubleshooting
- Ability to use multimeters and electrical test equipment
- Previous quality inspection or QA experience strongly preferred
- Basic to intermediate soldering experience
- Experience with hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, torque tools, and measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify workmanship defects
- High school diploma or GED required
