Barton 1792 Distillery is looking for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team! The position will be either 2nd or 3rd shift with overtime on weekends as necessary.
Job Responsibilites:
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and variable frequency drives (VFD)
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with machinery, utilizing your strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Identify and resolve PLC-related problems, utilizing your PLC troubleshooting skills
Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
2+ years of prior Maintenance or Mechanic work experience required
Completion of at least one of the following degrees: Industrial Electrician, Industrial Maintenance Electrical Mechanic, Automated Industrial Technician, or similar degree
Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair machinery issues
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of machine safety inspections and adherence to safety regulations
