Location: Tampa, FL 33626

Openings: 2 — one on 1st shift and one on 2nd shift

Available shifts

• First shift: $17.75 per hour. Monday–Thursday, 10-hour workdays, starting at 5:00, 5:30, or 6:00 a.m.
• Second shift: $19.75 per hour. Monday–Thursday, 1:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend extruders, mills, mold presses, and click presses.
• Apply pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) and perform hot and cold bonding.
• Assist with cutting, bonding, and other elastomer production tasks.
• Adjust machine speeds, pressures, temperatures, and material flow according to instructions.
• Monitor gauges and equipment for malfunctions.
• Read blueprints and inspect work using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Report defective materials and questionable conditions to the supervisor.
• Follow quality procedures and keep equipment and work areas clean.
• Wear required PPE, including steel-toe safety boots.

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered by management.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Ability to follow machine operating instructions, safety rules, and quality procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and dependable attendance.
• Availability for the selected shift.
• Valid driver’s license for site access. Bring it to the interview and every workday.

Preferred qualifications

• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with elastomer processing, presses, extrusion, cutting, or bonding.
