EHS Strategy and Continuous Improvement Manager

Where will you work: The successful candidate can sit at either our FishHawk Office (13830 Circa Crossing Drive | Lithia, Florida 33547) or our Regina office (1700-2010 12th Ave | Regina, SK S4P 0M3 Canada). In this role you are eligible to work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. You will also enjoy a hybrid office schedule with dedicated office days for collaboration with your colleagues. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.

As our EHS Strategy and Continuous Improvement Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our efforts to align EHS activities with Mosaic’s strategic goals. You’ll develop and streamline processes, manage project portfolios, and lead key initiatives. Your role will also involve making action item tracking and decision-making more efficient within the EHS team. Plus, you’ll work closely with the EHS Governance group to ensure essential information is shared effectively and that our team receives the training they need to succeed. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re passionate about driving continuous improvement and enjoy collaborating with diverse teams to achieve common goals.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate with EHS department leadership to develop a globally aligned EHS Strategy in support of Mosaic’s strategic priorities

  • Manage the development and maintenance of KPI tracking and evaluation processes to ensure that the EHS strategy, objectives and metrics are being met and maintained to drive accountability throughout EHS

  • Develop and leverage data analytics and statistical methods to monitor performance.

  • Identify and provide input and feedback to key leaders about process improvement opportunities

  • Execute process improvement projects

  • Develop and implement change management plans to support effective change communication, monitor transitions and evaluate results

  • Collaborate with Transformation and Corporate Strategy teams on change readiness, change management techniques and alignment

  • Lead through significant change and implementation of EHS programs

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent

  • 8+ years in continuous improvement, operations, project management, and/or management systems

  • MS Office

  • SAP, BI, Intelex and other EHS platforms

  • Minitab, JMP or other statistical evaluation software

  • Dynamic thinking and problem-solving

  • Strategic mindset

  • Change management

  • Proven leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Project management

  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities

Bonus points if you have the following:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, business, or related field

  • Six Sigma Black Belt or other change management certification

  • Portuguese
