Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) ManagerDrive Safety, Champion Compliance, Make a Lasting ImpactPosition Summary:We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead and enhance EHS programs across multiple sites in California and Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for building a culture of safety, driving compliance with all regulatory standards, and ensuring the health and well-being of all employees, contractors, and visitors.This is a high-impact role where your leadership will shape the company’s safety performance, emergency readiness, and environmental responsibility.Key Responsibilities:Assess and continuously improve EHS compliance and preparedness across all locations. Identify gaps, develop corrective actions, and implement best-in-class safety solutions.Lead the creation and delivery of required training programs to ensure a safe and compliant workplace for all employees.Develop, implement, and maintain written safety and health programs such as:Hazard Communication (GHS)Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure ControlPPE and Hazard Assessment ProgramsLockout/Tagout (LOTO)Respiratory ProtectionEmergency Action PlansInspect facilities regularly to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective measures are implemented and tracked.Oversee accident investigations, root cause analysis, reporting, and follow-up to prevent future incidents.Maintain OSHA logs and ensure all EHS documentation, records, and reports are current and compliant.Support the management of workers’ compensation claims and coordinate with carriers to minimize lost time.Ensure all vendors and contractors comply with internal EHS protocols.Provide effective communication tools (signage, barriers, posters) to reinforce safety awareness.Collaborate closely with HR and leadership teams to align safety strategy with business goals.Travel occasionally between facilities to provide on-site support and guidance.What You Bring:Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable EHS regulations.Experience developing and implementing safety training and inspection programs.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.Effective communicator—both written and verbal—with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.Critical thinker who can work independently to prioritize and execute tasks.Confidence and assertiveness to enforce safety policies while remaining collaborative and approachable.Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy equipment environment.Familiarity with safety compliance in multi-site operations.EHS certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP, CHST) are a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Why This Role:Join a team where your leadership and expertise will directly contribute to a safer, more compliant, and more sustainable operation.
