What You’ll Do

As the EHS Manager, you will take the lead in managing and advancing our environment, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with EPA and OSHA standards. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining our ISO 14001 EMS certifications, promoting sustainability, and fostering a culture of safety and compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain expert knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and ensure compliance across our facilities.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with the EHS Director to implement programs that meet or exceed legal and corporate EHS standards.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Establish and promote programs to reduce waste and hazardous materials.
  • Training & Audits: Conduct facility audits, deliver monthly EHS training sessions, and address EHS concerns promptly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality control, and other teams to meet production and quality goals.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years in industrial or manufacturing settings.
    • 5+ years in a chemical plant environment (preferred).
    • 3+ years in EHS regulatory roles.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 quality systems and strong mathematical skills.
