The role:
As a EHS Manager, you will help drive our goals by:
Effective implementation of Site EHS policies and procedures.
Ensure Compliance to all EHS legislation and JM group EHS requirements.
Carry out EHS audits and Inspections on day to day basis and proactively lead EHS improvement plans at Site and help achieve the target of Zero EHS incidents.
Plan, Organize and Provide EHS training to employees, contractors, visitors wherever necessary.
Co-ordinate with all departments on conducting EHS risk assessments/PHA in their respective area/new projects, ensure control measures are completely implemented and track the action items.
Maintain statutory testing data, inspection, records and submit to statutory authorities as per legal requirements related to EHS function.
Investigation of accidents and dangerous occurrences, ensure that the root cause is identified, and corrective actions are implemented and communicated across the relevant personnel.
Maintaining appropriate statistics on the facility’s EHS performance and forwarding regular report to management
Key skills/qualifications that will help you succeed in this role:
Extensive experience within an EHS role in the Chemical Industry.
Relevant EHS qualifications
Knowledge/experience of risk assessments/HAZOPS
Proven experience as an EHS Leader
