EHS Coordinator

Location: Indianapolis, IN

A growing, well-established manufacturer is seeking an EHS Coordinator to help lead environmental, health, safety, and sustainability initiatives within a fast-paced production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an EHS professional who enjoys being on the manufacturing floor, partnering with employees and leadership, and driving a strong safety culture.

What You'll Do

  • Support and implement environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, training, and hazard recognition.
  • Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor EHS performance metrics, regulatory compliance, and ESG reporting.
  • Partner with operations and leadership to identify and reduce workplace risks.
  • Assist with ISO 14001 initiatives and environmental compliance efforts.
  • Coordinate safety committees, audits, and regulatory reporting while supporting plant-wide EHS objectives.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-4+ years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental compliance regulations.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Experience leading safety initiatives, investigations, and employee engagement programs.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant EHS certifications preferred but not required.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
