**Starting at $25.00 + per hour (more depending on experience) **
Higher pay possible based on experience
Overtime available
1st Shift – Monday–Friday
2nd Shift – Monday–Friday
Stable full-time schedule with overtime available depending on production demand.
We are looking for experienced EDM Machinists to support the production of high-precision tooling and mold components. This position focuses on setup, operation, and optimization of EDM machines while maintaining tight tolerances and high quality standards.
This role is ideal for machinists who enjoy working in a tool room or mold shop environment and take pride in producing complex precision components.
Set up and operate EDM machines for precision tooling and mold components
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T
Maintain tight tolerances on high-precision parts
Monitor machining processes and adjust parameters as needed
Troubleshoot EDM machine conditions and production issues
Plan jobs to maximize unattended machine runtime
Inspect components using precision measuring tools including:
micrometers
height gauges
CMM
other precision inspection tools
Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure equipment is operating properly
Work with toolmakers, engineering, and quality teams to improve machining processes
2+ years EDM machining experience
Experience working in a precision machining or mold shop environment
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
Experience using precision measuring equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Injection mold tooling experience
Experience with Wire EDM or Sinker EDM
Experience with unattended machining
Familiarity with ISO or QS quality standards
Experience with CMM inspection
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent handling of tooling components
