Gopher Sport is looking for passionate, experienced candidates to join our Digital Experience team as an eCommerce Operational Specialist with a focus on Product Merchandising.

Description

As our eCommerce Operational Specialist – Product Merchandising Lead, you'll be responsible for enhancing the current customer experience related to finding and selecting products so it’s faster, easier, more accurate and more intuitive - ensuring all website elements are functioning as intended.


What will you be doing?

- Immediately respond to and resolve reported errors w/in documented department response times.

- Proactively monitor and audit the websites to ensure proper functionality related to finding and selecting products. Take immediate action to resolve any known issues from website audits.

- Lead the projects designed to introduce new improvements to the customer’s online experience as directed by your manager. Lead from kickoff through launch. Deliver expected results on-time and on-budget.

- Audit the current customer experience and identify potential areas of opportunity for improvement.

- Be the primary point of contact for all things related to finding and selecting a product online. This includes, but is not limited to, Site Search, Navigation, Product Results Pages, Product Detail Pages, Product Images and content related to guided shipping experiences.

- Work across departments to ensure problems are fixed, enhancements are communicated, and the customer’s experience is improved.

- Work with 3rd party vendors to achieve department initiatives. Ensure the best combination of price, service and quality from all external eCommerce partners.

- Regularly report on key metrics and behavioral data. Publish reporting and use a data-driven approach to identify and prioritize potential future enhancements.

- Develop expertise and certifications in the Magento platform and the systems and data connected to it.

- Stay current with new technologies, trends or advancements that help create an unmatched online experience for our customers.

- Make changes to the website’s merchandising as directed by the product and marketing teams.

Requirements

1) 2-4 years of experience in Digital Marketing or eCommerce, with hands-on experience in Magento or a related web platform.

2) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent experience in eCommerce, Marketing, or relevant field.
