Position Purpose:
This role involves performing clerical accounting tasks under supervision, requiring knowledge of accounting practices and classifications. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining financial data, generating reports for accurate records, and handling complex clerical and entry-level accounting activities. The role also involves professional communication with customers, vendors, and co-workers, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Additionally, the position requires functioning as a team member and performing various duties to best serve the
company.

Major Functional Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain monthly financial reports including vendor managed income contributions and return on vendor investment.
  • Perform data entry, maintenance, and monitoring of all vendor programs for tracking purposes, including local purchasing, marketing initiatives, and corporate pass-back programs. This may involve rebates, flyer allowances, and managed income.
  • Provide Vistex reports for monthly tracking/recording.
  • Review monthly receivables for compliance with local and corporate programs.
  • Research vendor discrepancies with Earned Income billings.
  • Back up other accounting or administrative support staff, as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Required Education:
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Work Experience:
• 1 - 3 Years Accounting or Related experience

Required Qualifications
• Familiarity with accounting software and Excel required

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Education:
• Associate's Degree/2-Year Technical Accounting or related field

Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 - 5 Years
