Baker Hughes Bently Nevada offers a plant-wide, holistic suite of machine condition monitoring and protection hardware, software and services that help achieve the highest level of asset reliability possible.

The Electrical Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of electrical engineers that are responsible for develop cutting-edge, high-performance machinery diagnostic and asset management hardware.

You will be responsible for:

  • Grow, develop and mentor leaders and technologists by attracting, training, and motivating top tier technical talent.

  • Build and maintain expectations of ownership, accountability, customer focus and quality at the individual and team level.

  • Participate in strategic 3 year & short-term planning for Multi Generation Technology Plans and required resource structure

  • Meet functional budgets, advocating for funding necessary to execute on deliverables to create value for our customers.

  • Lead the design team to achieve on-time execution of the deliverables through design reviews & tollgates, while ensuring conformance to design practices & procedures, assuring product quality.

  • Be responsible for Employee Development & Performance Management.

  • Drive "No excuses" leadership culture with integrity.

  • Build and maintain expectations of ownership, customer focus, and quality at the individual and team level.

  • Presenting team strategies, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders (EB and SEB) across Baker Hughes.

  • Communicating recommendations and solutions across the organization and with cross-functional partner organizations.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in technical roles or programs/project execution.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Great oral and written communication skills.
