Drywall Hangers – East Hartford, CT

Pay: $22–$25 per hour DOE

Location: East Hartford, CT

Project Duration: 6–7 months

Project: Commercial drywall and painting

We’re looking for experienced Drywall Hangers to join a commercial project in East Hartford. This is a 6–7 month opportunity for reliable drywall professionals who are comfortable working efficiently as part of a crew.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Hanging drywall on walls and ceilings
• Working with RC Channel (resilient channel)
• Hanging approximately 40 sheets of wall drywall per day
• Hanging approximately 32 sheets of ceiling drywall per day, typically 4' x 12' sheets
• Working safely on stilts
• Lifting and moving large sheets of drywall
• Keeping up with the pace of the job while maintaining good quality
• Following basic jobsite safety requirements and working well with the crew

What We’re Looking For:

• Commercial drywall hanging experience
• Comfortable working on stilts
• Able to lift and handle large sheets of drywall
• Reliable and able to commit to the 6–7-month project
• Able to work efficiently in a production environment
• Good English communication skills
• RC Channel experience is a plus
