Job Description

The Driver / Material Handler is responsible for safely operating a 16' box truck and performing material handling duties within the warehouse. This position requires an even split between driving and warehouse responsibilities. The ideal candidate has prior forklift experience (sit-down and stand-up) and a valid CDL Class A or B with a current DOT medical card.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a 16' box truck to transport materials, equipment, and products as needed.

• Safely load and unload materials using forklifts (sit-down and stand-up).

• Perform warehouse functions including receiving, stocking, picking, and staging materials.

• Move and handle parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Position self to access equipment by standing, sitting, walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed.

• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow DOT safety regulations.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work and vehicle environments.

• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience driving a 16' box truck.

• Valid CDL Class A or B and current DOT medical card.

• Forklift certification or verifiable forklift experience (sit-down and stand-up).

• Previous warehouse experience required.

• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and time management.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work as needed.
