Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused** Driver** to transport goods to customers and distribution centers in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a box truck (typically 16–26 feet) to deliver and pick up goods
Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit
Plan delivery routes and adhere to delivery schedules
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and receipts
Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays promptly

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on vehicle size and regulations)
Clean driving record
Previous experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (typically up to 50–100 lbs)
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks
Strong time management and organizational skills
Good communication and customer service skills

Working Conditions

Local and/or regional routes (may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends)
Frequent loading/unloading and physical activity
Exposure to varying weather conditions
Independent work with occasional team coordination

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with GPS and route optimization tools
Experience with warehouse operations or logistics
Basic mechanical knowledge
