**About the Role

**

A geotechnical drilling company is seeking a hardworking and safety-focused Driller’s Helper to support field drilling operations. This role works directly alongside the Lead Driller to assist with geotechnical drilling projects, equipment setup, sampling operations, and maintaining safe and organized job sites.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, teamwork, and construction or drilling environments.

**Key Responsibilities

**

• Assist the Lead Driller with daily geotechnical drilling operations

• Handle and organize drilling tools, rods, casing, and field equipment

• Support soil and rock sampling procedures including:

• Mix and pump grout as directed

• Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment

• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all company safety policies, field instructions, and project specifications

• Assist with mobilization and setup at various job sites

**Qualifications

**

• Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or B required

• Previous construction, drilling, labor, or outdoor field experience preferred

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions

• Strong work ethic, teamwork, and situational awareness

• Ability to lift heavy materials and work with hand tools and equipment

• Dependable attendance and commitment to safety

**Work Environment

**

• Outdoor field work at active construction and drilling sites

• Frequent lifting, bending, standing, and manual labor

• Travel to local job sites may be required
