**The Opportunity

**

Authentic Drilling is looking for an experienced Driller to lead challenging geotechnical, environmental, exploration, and water well drilling projects. This role is ideal for a safety-focused, detail-oriented professional driller who takes ownership in the field, leads helpers effectively, and knows how to keep complex jobs moving.

**What You’ll Do

**

• Operate drill rigs, support equipment, and tooling safely and efficiently.

• Lead and train Driller Helpers while maintaining a clean, organized jobsite.

• Load, move, and complete drilling operations according to load lists, estimates, and project requirements.

• Document drilling activities accurately and submit paperwork on time.

• Communicate daily production, equipment needs, deficiencies, incidents, and potential change orders.

• Perform routine maintenance and assist with repairs to drill rigs, equipment, and tooling.

• Follow all health, safety, confidentiality, and site-specific requirements.

**What We’re Looking For

**

• Minimum 5 years of Driller experience across a variety of rigs and drilling methods, including SSA, HSA, air rotary, mud rotary, coring, ODEX, and casing advancer.

• Experience with monitoring well, piezometer, lysimeter, and inclinometer installations and abandonment.

• CDL Class A with Tanker Endorsement, Air Brakes, and a clean 5-year driving record.

• Ability to back up trailers and drive manual transmission vehicles.

• Basic mechanical and fabrication knowledge.

• Required or job-specific training such as MSHA, HAZWOPER, TASK, SafeLand, Railroad, and other certifications as needed.

**The Right Fit

**

Successful candidates are dependable, accountable, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently while knowing when to ask for input from supervisors or teammates. You must be physically able to perform field work, including lifting 75+ lbs, and flexible enough to travel out of town, work out of state, and occasionally work nights, weekends, or holidays.

• Employees must immediately report tickets or changes in criminal history, including pending matters.
