Job Description

We are recruiting for a Drill Press Operator for a company Norristown

Responsibilities include:

Machine Setup: Selects the appropriate drill bits, adjusts spindle speeds, and sets feed rates based on material specifications.

Reading Blueprints: Interprets technical drawings, job orders, and schematics to determine exact hole locations, depths, and dimensions.

Securing Materials: Fastens workpieces safely using clamps, vises, or jigs to prevent slippage or inaccuracy during operation.

Quality Control: Measures finished parts using precision tools like calipers and micrometers to verify conformance to standards.

Safety & Maintenance: Follows strict safety rules, uses protective guards, clears swarf (metal shavings/debris), and performs routine maintenance on equipment.
