Dozer/Loader Operator - Night Shift

Shift: 11 pm - 8:30 am Monday- Friday

Pay: $28.31 an hour

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Dozer/Loader Operator at the underground mine in Randolph, Missouri. This position is responsible for loading heavy equipment with rock to fill haul trucks in our operations.

Essential Functions

• Participate in safety programs and trainings, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture
• Drive machinery into piles of material blasted from work faces
• Operating heavy equipment to load materials onto a haul truck
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
• Work in a team environment
• Clean work areas
• Proper wear of personal protective equipment
• Notify supervisors of needed repairs
• Manage multiple tasks and prioritizing for production needs

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and will require 40+ hours per week.

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations
• Effective verbal communication
• Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance

Physical Abilities

• Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round
• General physical activities including climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reach with hands and arms, and handling materials
