Donation Services Associate 

Full-Time/40 hours per week 

$14.00/hour

What you will be doing as a DSA

  • Assist customers in unloading donations.
  • Quality sorting donations as needed
  • Place all donations inside the collection area of the building or trailer.
  • Keep area of collection neat and clean, free of donations, trash, etc.
  • Politely answer questions from the public.
  • Offer donation receipts to all customers.
  • Securing collection area upon completion of shift. Maintain the Employee Purchase and Goods Security Policy.
  • Rejecting, politely but firmly, items that we cannot accept.
  • Assist with housekeeping, janitorial duties, garbage removal and snow removal.
  • To accept other related duties and responsibilities from time to time may be assigned.
  • Assist the Transportation Department with offloading and loading the truck.
  • Assists in emergency drills or actual emergencies.

Physical Requirements

These work environment factors are general: CONSTANT: Stand and near vision. FREQUENT: Bend neck; talk/speak; and visual accommodation. OCCASIONAL: Medium work, lift and carry up to 50 pounds; rotate neck, static neck position; walk; hear within 5 feet and midrange vision.
