| JOB SUMMARY |
| A Dock Lead coordinates daily logistics operations, including loading/unloading, inventory and documentation accuracy (delivery paperwork, cylinder labels, manifests/bills of lading) and leak checking cylinders. This role requires proficiency in warehouse management systems, material handling equipment (forklifts), and strong communication to coordinate with carriers. Primary responsibility is overseeing the safe movement of cylinders, leak checking cylinders, compliance with safety standards and upholding Quality Standards. Alongside logistical duties, train fellow employees (drivers), train dock team on cylinder leak checking safety procedures and cylinder segregation, act as a liaison between management and the shipping/receiving floor, and leverage extensive knowledge and expertise to provide guidance. Maintain all preventive maintenance and calibration schedules for all on site equipment, tools and LLS. Lead daily toolbox talks. Leading by example, the Dock Lead sets the standard for excellence and safety, driving productivity while maintaining a steadfast focus on operational efficiency. |
