Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven
Branch Manager
to lead daily branch operations and drive business growth. This role is responsible for overseeing sales, warehouse and distribution activities, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience managing operations in a fast-paced trade-related environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead branch operations, sales, warehousing, and distribution activities to achieve revenue, profitability, and customer service goals.
- Develop, manage, and coach branch employees, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and team development.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented workplace culture.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to grow business within the local market.
- Monitor branch performance and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure inventory, warehouse, and distribution processes are executed safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with leadership to achieve company objectives and support continued branch growth.
Technical Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable using CRM and ERP systems to manage customer relationships, sales activity, and operational workflows.
- Experience with inventory management software and warehouse control systems.
- Ability to utilize financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting tools to monitor branch performance and profitability.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new business applications and technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of management, branch operations, sales leadership, or related experience.
- Experience overseeing warehouse, distribution, sales, or industrial operations preferred.
- Background in construction, industrial supply, wholesale distribution, or other skilled trades-related industries required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and ERP systems, inventory management software, and financial reporting and budgeting tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to build customer relationships, lead teams, and drive business growth.
