Position Title: - Director, Portfolio Marketing Strategy Lead - Portfolio Marketing

Location: Bridgewater and Morristown

  • 50% remote working and 10% of travel expected.

The Head of Portfolio Strategy will report to the Portfolio Marketing and Operations Head, and will work in close collaboration with brand, sales, and transversal partners, to define end-to-end portfolio strategies and tactics. You will be responsible for developing and leading the execution of the portfolio marketing strategy who has the objective to develop a unique Sanofi Vaccines cross-brands identity, along with Account Management and Retail solutions teams, that authentically reflects Sanofi values and commitment to excellence. These partners will include US commercial colleagues, Franchise Marketing teams, Sales teams across all channels, Medical, Public Affairs, Market Access, and Finance, as well as Global partners such as Franchise and Brand Excellence.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic projects for customer (independent, retail, hospital, HS) portfolio solutions that maximize value for the customer and activate brand strategic imperatives
  • Build appropriate brand content and provide thought partnership into tactical execution by sales teams
  • Identify tactics brand teams could use to enhance strategic imperative activation including omnichannel, digital and customer (retail, medical clinic, health system) value propositions
  • Build and execute the roadmap for growth opportunities using your extensive experience in market and customer insights, marketing strategy, analytics, digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of portfolio marketing campaigns
  • Guide development of rationale and decisions on pricing, positioning, promotion, distribution, market research, regulatory and other issues which impact product marketing.
  • Develop budgets in proportion to their impact on revenues to achieve the greatest profit contribution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Required: minimum bachelor’s degree
  • 8-10 years' experience in Pharma/vaccines
  • Demonstrated ability to apply marketing and digital solutions to deliver brand and customer objectives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or masters
  • Marketing, product launch, digital, policy or marketing access experience in the U.S.
  • Demonstrated breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact
