Director of Warehouse Operations Opening!

We are seeking an experienced Director of Warehouse Operations to lead warehouse team and drive operational excellence across distribution network. This leadership role is responsible for managing warehouse operations, supervising warehouse leadership, developing processes, improving efficiency, controlling costs, and ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distribution and warehouse management, experience working with commodities, and a proven track record of leading teams, implementing operational improvements, and collaborating with senior leadership.

Duties:

• Lead, develop, and manage 2 Warehouse Supervisors and approximately 30 warehouse employees.
• Partner with the CEO and Senior Management team to establish and execute warehouse strategies and operational goals.
• Communicate, enforce, and execute warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Assist Human Resources with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, performance management, and employee terminations.
• Monitor employee productivity and calculate performance metrics and production statistics.
• Create reports, charts, and KPIs for presentation to the CEO.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Oversee shipping operations and ensure compliance with FedEx, UPS, and customer shipping requirements.
• Review freight invoices and shipping-related expenses for accuracy and cost control

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations.

• Experience managing supervisors and hourly warehouse employees.

• Experience working with commodities in recent positions.

• Strong background in distribution and warehouse environments.

• Proven success implementing warehouse process improvements.

• Strong computer skills, including reporting, data analysis, and operational systems.

• Working knowledge of FedEx, UPS, and shipping systems, including compliance with shipping guidelines and requirements.
