Position: Director of Warehouse & Logistics Operations


We are hiring for an experienced Director of Warehouse & Logistics Operations to join our team! The Director of Warehouse & Logistics Operations is responsible for daily operations of logistics including but not limited to personnel, WMS, warehouses including 3PL, inventory, meeting customer needs, fleet and freight management.


What You Need to Have?

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• At least 2 years of logistics leadership experience.

• Prior experience in transportation including freight, ocean, rail, and freight forwarders inbound and outbound.


How you contribute as a team member:

• Monitoring Semi-drivers for adherence to DOT CDL rules and regulations.

• Work with Customer Service, Planning, and Production departments to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of products meeting customer expectations and requirements.

• Resolve problems concerning WMS, transportation, logistics systems, inventory, or customer issues.

• Manage freight costs including inbound, transfers and outbound with quality carriers. Using full truck, LTL, intermodal etc.

• Work with employees to maintain proper staffing levels while managing labor costs.

• Work with employees to generate SOP and function with best practices to maintain product quality, accuracy of inventory, accuracy of shipments, safety, cleanliness etc.

• Manage maintenance and preventative maintenance programs for warehouse equipment and lift truck fleet.

• Manage relationship with 3PL to improve speed and accuracy of outbound order fulfillment process. Verify and approve all freight and 3PL invoices.

• Responsible for daily inventory accuracy at all 3PL locations.

• Lead process change initiatives including enhancements to create improved efficiencies across Logistics.

• Monitor product import or export processes and paperwork to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
