Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Global Lead of Program Management to join our talented PD&E team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex new product development projects from kick-off to production, managing global teams across multiple time zones, and fostering a culture of on-time, on-cost, and on-quality delivery.

The position is also responsible for the Program Management Office, defining and maintaining processes and tools, as well as overall projects portfolio management, projects metrics and KPIs and overall projects health status

Essential Functions:

  • Accountability: Ensure successful project execution and product launches across the entire Navico Group product portfolio.

  • Portfolio Management: Oversee resource allocation, OPEX, and CAPEX planning and tracking.

  • Standardization: Implement and standardize project management processes, tools, and reporting structures.

  • Risk Management: Manage and mitigate project issues and risks.

  • Change Management: Implement and monitor project-level change management for scope, timing, and cost.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise direct and indirect employees to foster a global delivery culture focused on timely, cost-effective, and quality execution, while driving ownership and accountability.

  • Performance Management: Oversee team performance, developing skills and capabilities.

  • Gate Reviews: Ensure readiness, content completeness, and quality of work products for management reviews.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Develop and maintain project analytics, KPIs, and dashboards.

  • Efficiency Improvements: Lead initiatives to improve efficiency.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in program/project management with progressive

    responsibility in marine, automotive, or tech consumer electronics product development.

  • 7+ years in a leadership role, managing a global team.

  • Proficient in hybrid project management methodologies. ·

  • Skilled in managing software-intensive and complex mechatronics product development.

  • Experienced in portfolio management, PMO processes, phase gate, KPIs, and project health dashboards.

  • Strong skills in budget tracking and reporting.

  • Excellent risk and issue management capabilities.

  • Experienced in defining and implementing change management processes.

  • Strong leadership and team development skills.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • Skilled in negotiating conflicts and maintaining constructive working relationships at all organizational levels.

  • Ability to support the corporate 5 C’s program: Customer Satisfaction, Commercial Edge, Collaboration, Culture of Passion and Performance, and Credibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP and/or Agile project management certification. · Experience with Jira, Team Center, ERP systems, Microsoft Office suite. · Passion for boating or at least comfortable with product evaluation on boats. · Previous experience in Engineering, Manufacturing or Supply Chain roles.

Working Conditions:

  • This will be a hybrid role with a 2-3 days in office requirement.
  • This position will support teams in AMER, EMEA and APAC regions and should flex schedule to meet needs of the teams at any given time
  • There will be about 20% required travel
