We are seeking a dedicated Director of Operations to join our team.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for all of the Company’s Manufacturing and Maintenance activities related to all MPE sites. The Director of Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key member of the Leadership Team that develops, establishes, communicates and executes the strategic direction of operations while aligning with overall business goals and objectives and supporting customer requirements.
- Work closely with President/CEO to drive manufacturing plans, goals and future innovations including Lean, Six Sigma, Quick Response Manufacturing techniques and Continuous Improvement to evolve our World Class Organization.
- Ensure that, as the Company grows, our manufacturing capabilities meet or exceed industry and customer requirements for cost, quality, responsiveness, lean, efficiencies, safety and best practices.
- Develop, recommend and manage budgeting and budget execution within functional area with a focus on costs savings, productivity improvements and quality assurance. Manage within the budgetary constraints. Analyze and report on variances between actual and budgeted expenditures
- Oversee all manufacturing engineering, production control, production process development, and preventive maintenance.
- Develop and implement processes, procedures and controls to promote efficient operations of the organization and ensure all Operations teams remain compliant to the processes, procedures and controls.
- Work closely with the Quality Team to ensure manufacturing processes are meeting customers’ requirements and required scorecard levels.
- Monitor and understand our customers’ and other outside agencies regulatory and quality system requirements and incorporate into our manufacturing processes while maintaining compliance.
- Ensure the training of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the organization’s standards for quality, quantity, and safety, consistent with the companies compliance and operational needs. Identifies additional training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
- Oversee the Company’s environmental, health and safety efforts in manufacturing to remain in compliance OSHA, EPA, State and local regulations and provide a safe working environment for our employees.
- Establish and maintain best practices for Manufacturing and Preventive Maintenance to develop and run a world-class manufacturer for medical devices. Ensure the maintenance of departmental housekeeping standards.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
- Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the Chief Executive Officer and Leadership Team.
- Leader and Ambassador for MPE Cultural Values internally and externally.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience
Experience and Training:
- At least 10 years of manufacturing and continuous improvement experience in a leadership role
- Experience in capital equipment and ROI analysis
- Experience low-volume, high product mix manufacturing
- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma and/or Quick Response Manufacturing techniques
