Director of Engineering

Location: Saegertown, PA

Pay: $150,000 – $185,000 + Bonus

Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite

Travel: Up to 10%

Overview

We are hiring a Director of Engineering to lead engineering and maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. This role will drive strategy, oversee capital projects, and lead cross-functional teams to improve production, efficiency, and overall plant performance.

What You’ll Do

• Lead engineering and maintenance teams across the facility
• Drive capital projects, machine rebuilds, and facility improvements
• Develop and execute engineering strategy aligned with business goals
• Improve processes, workflows, and operational efficiency
• Manage budgets, timelines, and engineering resources
• Ensure reliability of all systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing)
• Partner with operations and leadership to support production goals
• Manage vendors, contractors, and compliance projects
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

• 10+ years in manufacturing or mechanical engineering
• 5+ years leading engineering or maintenance teams
• Strong experience with capital projects and facility operations
• Background in process improvement and operational leadership
• Ability to manage budgets and drive results
