JOB SUMMARY

Direct and lead the SAP Process Excellence & Intelligence function, driving enterprise process transformation, business value realization, and data‑driven intelligence across the SAP landscape. This role is accountable for advancing finance and materials process excellence, AI‑enabled insights, and SAP data products, while partnering closely with a peer Director responsible for SAP Platform Services & Operations.

The Director plays a pivotal role in executing Jabil’s Clean Core strategy, enabling fit‑to‑standard SAP processes, and accelerating adoption of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), Datasphere, and Joule to support scalable, intelligent, and sustainable global operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Executive Management

Recruitment and Retention

  • Recruit, develop, and retain high‑performing leaders and teams across SAP process, data, and analytics domains.
  • Define role accountability and skill requirements aligned to SAP process excellence and transformation objectives.
  • Monitor engagement and retention metrics; proactively address gaps and succession needs.

Employee and Team Development

  • Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Establish and maintain training curricula aligned to SAP S/4HANA, process excellence, analytics, and AI capabilities.
  • Coach and mentor leaders and contributors to deliver consistent value to internal customers and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute succession plans for critical SAP process and data roles.

Performance Management

  • Establish clear, measurable objectives and operational metrics linked to business outcomes and transformation value.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback based on stakeholder input, delivery performance, and capability maturity.
  • Drive continuous improvement in execution quality, delivery predictability, and value realization.
  • Ensure consistent, fair, and timely recognition, rewards, and performance evaluations.

Communication

  • Maintain regular forums for cross‑functional communication and alignment.
  • Communicate strategy, priorities, and progress clearly using appropriate executive and operational messaging.
  • Adapt communication style to effectively influence a global, matrixed organization.
  • Provide regular updates to IT and business leadership on strategy execution and outcomes.

FUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Strategy & Direction

  • Define and execute the SAP Process Excellence & Intelligence strategy aligned to enterprise and campus strategic objectives.
  • Translate finance, supply chain, and enterprise strategies into executable SAP‑enabled capabilities.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to Finance, Supply Chain, Digital, and Data leadership.
  • Provide clear roadmaps and progress updates on transformation initiatives.

Business Process Excellence & Transformation

Finance Transformation

  • Partner with Finance leaders to modernize finance processes leveraging SAP S/4HANA, analytics, and intelligent automation.
  • Drive standardized, best‑practice financial processes aligned with Jabil’s global operating model.

Materials Optimization

  • Enable end‑to‑end materials planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain visibility through advanced SAP capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations leaders to improve material availability, cost efficiency, and resiliency.

AI‑Enabled Intelligence

  • Lead adoption of SAP Joule and AI‑driven insights across Finance and Materials domains.
  • Partner with Data Science, Automation, and business teams to identify, prioritize, and scale AI use cases.
  • Ensure AI solutions are explainable, governable, and aligned to enterprise architecture and compliance standards.

Data Products & SAP Data Strategy

SAP Data Products

  • Define, establish, and manage SAP‑centric data products supporting Finance, Supply Chain, and Enterprise Analytics.
  • Set data ownership, quality standards, governance, and lifecycle management.

Zero‑Copy Data Enablement

  • Drive architectures that enable zero‑copy SAP data access to the Global Data Platform (GDP).
  • Minimize data replication while maximizing performance, security, and usability.

TECHNICAL & PLATFORM COLLABORATION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Co‑lead SAP platform enablement with the Director of SAP Platform Services & Operations.
  • Partner on:
    • Enterprise deployment and adoption of SAP BDC, Datasphere, and Joule
    • Platform roadmaps, dependencies, and architectural guardrails
    • Change management and business enablement
  • Co‑own and advance the SAP Clean Core strategy, reducing customizations and promoting extensibility best practices.
  • Ensure process excellence initiatives align with platform sustainability, security, and operational stability.
  • Drive enterprise standardization across SAP instances.

OPERATIONAL & GOVERNANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure projects and initiatives are planned and executed with the right balance of strategic transformation and operational integrity.
  • Define, track, and communicate meaningful KPIs and value metrics.
  • Drive cost transparency and identify opportunities to optimize spend through standardization and simplification.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies related to security, privacy, health, safety, and quality.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of enterprise and customer data.
  • Share best practices across Jabil facilities and global IT teams.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise IT, SAP, or digital transformation roles.
  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Materials/Supply Chain domains.
  • Demonstrated success leading large‑scale process excellence, standardization, and transformation initiatives.
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud, and modern enterprise data architectures.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with platform, infrastructure, and operations leaders.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders.
  • Experience operating in complex, global, matrixed organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing or scaling AI‑enabled SAP capabilities, including SAP Joule.
  • Background supporting Clean Core and fit‑to‑standard SAP strategies.
  • Experience in global, multi‑instance SAP environments.
  • Familiarity with zero‑copy data architectures and modern data platforms.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
  • Six (6) to eight (8) years’ work-related experience required in a relevant Jabil IT position and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within an IT department.
  • Or a combination of education, experience and/or training
