The Emerging Memory team at Micron is working on the next generation of memory technology. As the Director of the Product Engineering team, you will be enabling a world-class team of product engineers responsible for enabling new memory technologies. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to drive success in Micron’s emerging memory roadmap. You will apply your expert knowledge and leadership experience to enable next generation memory technology!

Are you Ready for These Exciting Projects?

  • Empower a multi-functional engineering team consisting of product management, silicon debug, process enablement and media health teams
  • Foster positive relationship with the Design Engineering team to enable a close working relationship in design and silicon debug
  • We collaborate internally with Technology Development and Manufacturing teams to drive technology direction and necessary feedback for success
  • Enable external customers on a new technology
  • Drive new technology from concept to manufacturable product
  • Enable predictable silicon schedules managing personnel and budget projections
  • Partner with TA to attract, recruit, and retain top talent to continue team and personnel growth
  • Exhibit and drive Servant Leadership attributes and culture within the team
  • Provide regular executive updates on program status, objectives, and recommendations


  • BSEE or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor industry
  • Experience leading successful highly technical teams
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to leadership
  • Advanced memory knowledge (DRAM, NAND, NOR, or 3DXP)
  • Expertise in silicon debug with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Thorough understanding of semiconductor device physics, CMOS process and VLSI
