IMMI is seeking a Direct Labor Quality Inspector to work on our weekend shift! This role is responsible to inspect and ensure that IMMI product quality is maintained throughout the production process. They utilize systems to collect data and find ways to improve quality standards and ensure customers receive consistent products and store data for internal organization.

HOURS: Friday 6:30am - 5:00pm and Saturday 7:00am - 3:00pm
PAY: $16 - $18 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of IMMI products with a focus on product integrity, reliability, specification, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with the appropriate Manufacturing Engineering personnel, Manufacturing Managers and Quality Engineers to ensure that all manufacturing processes are repeatable and in control and that work instructions are in place for every job and are being followed.
- Actively participate in the QMS internal and external audit process.
- Monitor quality standards and quality control systems.
- Inspect and test materials, equipment, process, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Conduct audit planning, implementation, and feedback.
- Verify, monitor, check and document quality data for production and inspect activities performed throughout operations and product lines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Manufacturing, quality, or related field.
- 3-5 or more years’ experience in manufacturing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail
- Comprehensive product knowledge; features, reading drawings, application, qualifications, and functions
- Appropriate certifications, education, and experience in manufacturing and vendor contracts
- Ability to effectively utilize software such as smart sheet, outlook, PDM, Microsoft, and other software as needed
- Must comply with legal and corporate responsibilities.
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be flexible to work in various stations.
- Must be able to work overtime if needed.
- Must stay focused in fast-paced work environment
WORK ENVIRONMENT DEMANDS:
- This work is deadline-oriented, requires multitasking, fluctuating work schedule, and flexibility within the workday
- Requires the ability for close vision, distance vision and depth perception
- Requires working and interacting with others, both in person and through phone, electronic, and written correspondence, and the ability to listen effectively, communicate clearly, maintain attention to detail, and perform focused work
- The following motions can be required during the day: Standing for extended periods of time, stepping up & down, balancing, bending (hip & knees), reaching, standing, walking, pulling, pushing, lifting (from floor to waist, waist to chest, chest to head), observing, hearing, grasping, pressing, and other repetitive actions
- Requires continuous motion throughout the day, utilization of tools, equipment, and industrial vehicles, the ability to life 25lbs, and perform physically demanding tasks as deemed necessary
- This work requires the proper attire and use of PPE which can include eyewear, steel toed protection, hard hat, gloves, earbuds, and other PPE as deemed necessary
- May work with and/or around potentially dangerous equipment
- This position requires working with various temperature conditions
