We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Direct Digital Control (DDC)/Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS) Operator to join our team in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate DDC and EMCS systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of control systems and equipment.
- Analyze system data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Respond promptly to alarms and system alerts, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with facility management and engineering teams to implement energy-saving initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and energy usage.
- Assist in training new staff on DDC and EMCS operations and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in energy management technologies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC, electrical, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience with DDC and EMCS systems in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and energy management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Union membership or willingness to join the union is required.
