Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Lead DSP Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will get to solve a full spectrum of signal processing challenges in SIGINT, EW, Radar, and Communications Systems. The candidate will be responsible for the development of innovative signal-processing algorithms and applications for mission-critical systems.

Qualified candidates will have experience or interest in the full System Design Lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, implementation, algorithm development, verification, and maintenance of systems deployed within advanced computing environments or onto tactical mission platforms.

Candidates should be motivated to solve problems independently and in small multi-disciplinary teams striving to achieve specific goals in mission-relevant timelines. Technical knowledge of Linux computing environments, communication system theory, and radar theory - including modulation/demodulation, RF fundamentals, signal processing algorithm development, X-MIDAS programming, and digital-to-analog conversion systems is strongly desired.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 9+ years relevant experience and Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or related field.

  • Experience as a Digital Signal Processing Engineer with C/C++, X-MIDAS, Python, or JAVA within Unix/Linux programming environments.

  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP) background with strong understanding of communication systems and/or radar system design and theory with implementation of concepts into software.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills. Must have experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project).

  • Active Secret Clearance or higher and U.S. Citizenship required. Active TS/SCI or SCI Eligibility preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • X-MIDAS: 1 year (Preferred)

  • C/C++, Python, or Java: 2 years (Preferred)


Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Salary Range:

$126,600.00 - $227,900.00
