About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a skilled and dependable Press Operator to join their production team. In this role, you will operate and maintain flexographic printing equipment to produce high-quality label products that meet customer specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing, machining, or printing experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses for production runs.
• Review and follow production work orders and job specifications.
• Prioritize work according to production schedules and deadlines.
• Produce high-quality label products that meet company and customer standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and maintain efficient production operations.
• Conduct routine quality inspections throughout the production process.
• Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes of equipment or process problems.
• Accurately record production data and daily output numbers.
• Identify and manage required raw materials, tooling, and supplies.
• Verify equipment calibration and report any issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping and waste removal.

Qualifications

• Previous machining, manufacturing, printing, or related industrial experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to learn new processes and follow detailed instructions.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
