This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus! After 90 days receive $500; after 6 months receive $500!

Position Summary and Responsibilities


The Digital Media Specialist will report to the Global Marketing Communications Director and will assist in marketing efforts using digital tools to update our website, spearhead our digital and email marketing campaigns, and communicate our marketing messages on social media. This person will be responsible for the look and feel as well as the functionality of our website. They will also develop and schedule the 30+ eblasts that go out each month, using best practices to do so. They will also serve as the key social media contact. Proven work experience as a Digital Media Specialist is a must.


Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned)



  • Solid knowledge of SharePoint preferred, or other content management systems such as WordPress, and web page design
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and other Google website tools
  • Manage the day-to-day updates of the website
  • Develop new pages for new products and services
  • Design with mobile based features in mind
  • Maintain a strong online company voice
  • Keep up with best practices of SEO, SEM and key word usage in web page
  • Improve our web presence in US, UK and select countries to boost brand awareness


eMarketing and eBlasts

  • Solid knowledge of Pardot, or other emarketing platforms such as Hubspot
  • Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals in mind
  • Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase profitability
  • Work with Salesforce administrator to make sure leads are getting into Salesforce
  • Work with Salesforce Administrator to make sure current contact database is up to date, and work to maintain correct and current data in the database
  • Have knowledge of Salesforce and its reporting and dashboard function

Social media

  • Solid knowledge of social media platforms Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram for business.
  • Solid knowledge of social media posting apps, like Hootsuite
  • Manage the day-to-day updates of social media posts
  • Suggest and recommend posts for promotions, products sales and general posts
  • Schedule days/times when posts are to appear
  • Work with various departments to schedule posts
  • Track analytics to see how posts are doing, and the audience we are gathering

Other possible duties

  • Help out in the administration of Salesforce CRM
  • Monitor Return on Investments (ROI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of digital media and social media
  • Assist in the creation of digital content for all outlets (e.g. website, emails, social media, AdWords)
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams to ensure brand consistency and stay updated with digital media developments
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent working experience.


2-4 years’ experience in Marketing Communications, Sales, or related field.
