This role is a 2nd shift position, working 2-10pm with a shift differential.
Summary
The Digital & Inserter Operator plays a critical role within the Direct Mail team, supporting the production of secure, high-volume mailing projects. This position is responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of variable sheet inserting equipment with integrated camera tracking systems, as well as supporting associated digital print processes.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong working knowledge of USPS mail preparation standards and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Given the nature of the work—including 100% verification requirements and tight production timelines—this role requires a commitment to quality, precision, and operational efficiency.

Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of industry-related experience and training
· Minimum of two (2) years of print and/or mailing industry experience
· Demonstrated ability to perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
· Ability to accurately read and measure using a ruler
· Demonstrates basic computer literacy, including the ability to navigate operating systems and perform routine data entry tasks with accuracy
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to accurately interpret job instructions
· Ability to interact professionally with customers and internal team members
· High attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work
· Demonstrated sound judgment, dependability, and strong organizational work habits
· Experience operating variable sheet inserter equipment, preferred
· Familiarity with 100% camera verification systems, preferred
· Working knowledge of digital press operations, preferred
· Experience with Pace/EFI Production System or similar production software, preferred
