Job Description

Express Employment is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to service Compact and Utility Tractors in Dexter, MI. This direct hire position involves diagnosing, maintaining, and performing major repairs on compact and utility tractors. You’ll be working with a knowledgeable team in a well-stocked shop with OEM support—and receive paid Kubota certification training to grow your skillset.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of compact and utility tractors
• Disassemble and reassemble tractors for major repairs
• Replace and repair engines, transmissions, axles, and engine components
• Split tractors and perform drivetrain overhauls
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform precise mechanical work
• Document repairs and follow safety procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience servicing diesel, farm, or heavy equipment
• Familiarity with hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work on floor creepers, knees, and in various positions
• Skilled with diagnostic tools and mechanical repairs

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 9:00am–5:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am–2:00pm (as needed)

Pay Range:
