Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and recommendations.
Be able to order parts for the shop
Work well with the Shop Service Manager on leadership tasks
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical tractor- and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks & trailers
Perform DOT inspection per FMCSA guidelines

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
At least 3+ years of experience
Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems.
Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
