We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Die Technician to join our dynamic team in Warren, MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process by designing, building, and maintaining precision tools and dies that are essential for our production operations. Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, and repair dies according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing tools and dies.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tool performance.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of tool and die specifications.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in Die making preferred.
• Proven experience as a Die Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

• Troubleshooting Skills
• Tape Measure Reading
• Metal Stamping & Forming (Progressive Die)
• Advanced Inspection & Gauge Measurement
• Blueprint Reading

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• Class A & B Dies
• Transfer Die Experience
