We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Die Technician to join our dynamic team in Warren, MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process by designing, building, and maintaining precision tools and dies that are essential for our production operations. Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, and repair dies according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing tools and dies.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tool performance.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of tool and die specifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in Die making preferred.
- Proven experience as a Die Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

- Troubleshooting Skills
- Tape Measure Reading
- Metal Stamping & Forming (Progressive Die)
- Advanced Inspection & Gauge Measurement
- Blueprint Reading
Machines & technologies you'll use:
- Class A & B Dies
- Transfer Die Experience
