Job Description:

• Support stamping operators by setting/troubleshooting all tool set ups into production equipment
• Inspect and follow die setup procedures to conform to all written quality procedures.
• Check first pieces of each run to the quality gages as per the written quality procedures.
• Follow quick die set up procedures, knowledge of loading coils up to 1000 ton presses
• Submit required pieces to quality leaders for first piece approval and approval to run.
• Install all scrap shakers and safety guards before turning over press to operator.
• Follow written quality procedures at end of run for last piece production instructions
• 1-5 years’ experience and must have own tools or be willing to purchase
• Hilo and overhead crane experience (Hilo is a must minimum)
