**Machine Technician **

**Job Summary **
We are seeking an experienced Machine Technician to operate and support automated laminating and die cutting systems to produce precision die-cut components. This role is responsible for machine setup, operation, parameter adjustments, and quality monitoring to ensure parts are consistently produced within specification.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-moving team launching a new manufacturing cell, helping scale an exciting new product from initial startup to high-volume production.
**Key Responsibilities **
- Set up, operate, and monitor automated laminating and die cut machines
- Adjust machine parameters and process settings to maintain product quality
- Operate with custom machine software and automated inspection systems
- Interpret inspection data and dimensional measurements to guide process adjustments
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using tools such as calipers, CMM systems, and automated inspection equipment
- Apply basic Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor process performance
- Conduct minor troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
- Maintain production and quality documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support process improvements
**Required Qualifications **
- Experience operating automated manufacturing equipment
- Familiarity with machine interfaces and automated control systems
- Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers)
- Basic understanding of SPC
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with lamination, film processing, or rotary die cutting
- Experience with automated inspection or vision systems (e.g., Keyence)
- Experience using CMM systems; ability to interpret inspection or dimensional data
- Prior experience supporting new equipment or process launches
