Job Description

Position Purpose: Operate the Die Cutter Machine 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow and adhere to IQMS schedule
• Bring pallet of sheets from the staging area to load the skids into the Bobst
• Scan all pallets into IQMS
• Successfully load and unload the skids into the feeder station of the Bobst
• Perform changeovers in a timely manner 
• Set up, run, and check die cutting of sidewalls and lids
• Perform quality checks as needed and make the necessary adjustments
• Maximize production
• Detail write up of production along with notifying the supervisor of any issues
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance of Bobst
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, including the storage of dies
• Load and unload the Skid Turner/Aerator
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
 Experience Required: 

Skills/Abilities: 

• To work independently 
• To follow step-by-step setup and work with close tolerances
• To move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• To work in a fast-paced environment
• To understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here must be met by employees to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.   Must be on their feet all day; standing, stooping, squatting, and reaching can be expected, along with lifting up to 50 lbs. boxes of raw materials and finished goods.

Quality Standards:  Must be able to understand quality standards and perform quality checks

Safety:  To maintain proper safety standards according to established Sanitary and Housekeeping Practices (GMP Compliance). Proper use of all safety equipment i.e., proper use of personal protective gear, including hairnets, gloves, and safety glasses.
