This job includes but is not limited to the following:

• Must have a complete knowledge of die cast process including the function of the die, gates and runners, venting systems.
• Will have responsibility to repair and troubleshoot casting machines and related equipment.
• Must be able to set-up and program all automation equipment.
• Must be able to evaluate the effects of the equipment on the quality of the parts.
• Will strive to improve process to continually increase production and improve quality.
• Must continuously train to keep up with technology.
• Test required to move from Class II to Class I.
• Must follow all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.

Position Requirements

This position requires someone with a positive attitude, willing to constantly improve, and lead others to do the same. Must be willing to embrace new technology and change. Must have good communication skills. Must be able to read and understand written directives. Must have an excellent attendance record. Needs to have good math skills. This is a physically demanding position requiring moderately heavy lifting, dexterity and good mechanical skills.
