Die Cast Lead – 2nd Shift

Start here; retire here! There is a reason why we have so many employees with 20+ years with the company-Pace Cambridge offers careers. Come work in a historical building along the Middlesex Canal and join us in making advanced aluminum die cast parts for aerospace, medical devices, robotics and defense.

We a looking for a lead person in our Die Casting Department. This is an entry level leadership position with the opportunity to learn about the casting process and grow into an advanced technician, a supervisor, or both.

No casting experience required.

Our Die Cast Lead is responsible for

  • Overseeing operators and production
  • Performing machine setups
  • Supporting quality control
  • Running production equipment

We’ll teach you

  • Machine setup and start up
  • Robot programming
  • Process monitoring and engineering
  • Metrology

Requirements

  • Mechanical experience/aptitude
  • Basic leadership/supervisory experience
  • Strong command of spoken and written English

Preferred

  • Casting, injection molding, or other manufacturing experience
  • Machine/equipment setup or maintenance experience
  • Conversational Spanish, Vietnamese, or Khmer
