Location Requirement

Candidates must currently live near Morenci, AZ or be willing to relocate before starting employment. This is an onsite position.

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Industrial Electricians and Instrumentation Technicians to support maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of industrial electrical systems and equipment in a heavy industrial environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong electrical diagnostics experience, PLC knowledge, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remove, repair, and install electrical components and systems

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system optimization

  • Complete routine and non-routine electrical repairs and construction safely

  • Perform preventative maintenance on industrial electrical and instrumentation equipment

  • Maintain and troubleshoot:- AC/DC drives

    • PLC systems
    • Overhead cranes
    • Motor controls
    • Process control systems
    • Power distribution systems
    • Switchgear
    • Pneumatic and instrumentation equipment
  • Calibrate field transmitters, transducers, and weigh scales

  • Install and renovate systems in compliance with regulatory and safety standards

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols at all times

  • Mentor or assist in training less experienced electrical workers when needed

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following:

  • Completion of a certified Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation program

OR

  • Minimum of four (4) years of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation maintenance experience

OR

  • Associate degree or Trade School certification in a related field plus two (2) years of industrial experience

Additional requirements:

  • Strong troubleshooting and repair experience with industrial electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess required personal tools or obtain them within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to pass required written, skills, and safety assessments

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience with:- VFDs- PLCs
    • HMI and SCADA systems
    • Low and medium voltage equipment
    • AC/DC controls
    • Instrumentation devices
    • Diagnostic electrical testing equipment
    • HVAC systems
