Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented DevSecOps & CI/CD Lead to join our team! In this role you will play a critical role in shaping the cloud strategy and architecture of the FORGE C2 program while working under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) delivery methodology.

The Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution System (FORGE) is a program that will utilize the resources and capabilities of both the legacy Space Based-Infrared System (SBIRS) and the Next Generation OPIR system. FORGE will use current ground architecture to leverage newer technologies, facilitate the addition of new systems, and incorporate these into a common C2 architecture that includes infrastructure, platform, and core services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Facilitate all efforts focused on automation amongst other objectives, supporting the development and deployment of various cloud and on-premises environments.
• Guild all processes and procedures in delivering and maintaining operating system environments used by developers.
• Provide guidance within automated configuration and provisioning of cloud OS level infrastructure, as required.
• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using AWS or Azure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop automation scripts for efficient deployment and management of cloud resources.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and practices in the cloud environment.
• Monitor cloud services for availability, performance issues, and cost optimizations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on integrating applications with the cloud infrastructure.
• Stay updated on new features and technologies offered by AWS or Azure to enhance our cloud capabilities.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 10+ years of related experience
• 5+ years of progressive DevSecOps experience
• 10+ years of relevant Windows and Linux experience.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Test Automation, Docker, Packer and proficiency with Git.
• Able to develop software using a modern programming language (Python, Groovy, etc.).
• Familiarity with automation of security-relevant OS configurations, frameworks, and verification mechanisms including GPO, host firewall.
• PowerShell and Unix shell scripting experience.
• Deployment of applications into mixed platform environments (AWS, VMWare, OpenStack, OpenShift).
• Integration experience with cybersecurity COTS/FOSS tools sets asset management and vulnerability assessments
• Proven experience as a Cloud Systems Engineer or Architect with a strong focus on AWS or Azure.
• Deep understanding of core AWS/Azure services, including EC2/S3/RDS/VPC or their Azure equivalents (VMs/Blob Storage/Azure SQL/VNet).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS/TCP/IP) and security best practices in the cloud environment.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• DevSecOps experience or experience automating, measuring, and optimizing system performance and processes.
• Familiarity with agile process tools (e.g., Atlassian’s suite including Jira/Confluence) to manage and document development
• Working knowledge of security and auditing cloud infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes). - Background in migrating on-premises applications to the cloud.
• Linux or Windows system administration expertise.
• Active TS/SCI

Salary Range:

$126,600.00 - $227,900.00
