As a Device Reliability Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for identifying the quality and reliability challenges with Semiconductor Processing and implementing solutions to the challenges. You will be characterizing and evaluating process reliability utilizing wafer-level reliability (WLR) techniques. This role requires strong Semiconductor Device knowledge with an understanding of process reliability.


  • Provide Wafer Level Reliability support for New Process Qualification.
  • Identifying the quality and reliability challenges and drive solutions for advanced CMOS devices and BEOL metallization.
  • Manage, schedule and lead quality improvement initiatives to improve key quality indicator metrics to best in class.
  • Identifying the root cause for deviations and engage with problem solving team to fix quality and reliability issues.
  • Develop process reliability tests to assess new process failure mechanisms.


  • Masters or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science Engineering or Microelectronics.
  • Ideal candidate will have completed coursework / research in semiconductor devices.
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor Devices and Intrinsic Reliability Failure Mechanisms.
  • Strong data analysis and problem solving skills.
