Summary
Under general direction of the VP/GM of Chutes and Lockers, the Design Engineer – Standards develops, tracks and executes Chute and Locker Standards Group projects.
The Standards group bridges the gap between Engineering and Production by creating production processes / setting up assembly lines, new tooling design and specifications, evaluating and implementing process improvement ideas and leading standardization initiatives. They are also on the frontline of what’s next, leading customer driven standards projects - concept and approval stages, managing prototype designs including post-FAT revisions and new product development.
