Job Overview:

An Instructional Designer will develop effective learning solutions that will enable our customers – both external and internal to meet their performance or upskilling goals, in a variety of engineering and automation situations. You balance analytical and methodical skills with creativity and design while building solutions grounded in adult learning theories, instructional design strategies and performance assessment techniques. You are comfortable exploring business requirements, translating them into learning objectives, leading design and develop and measuring and reporting results and effectiveness of your solutions. Most importantly, you can demonstrate that your solutions have created demonstrable behavioral change and measurable performance improvement in a variety of business scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

    •       Engage customers and other stakeholders to understand and clarify business requirements including key performance metrics

    •       Analyze target audience, create profiles and conduct behavioral / task analyses to determine form, medium or technology of learning solutions

    •       Define learning solution, detailing learning / performance objectives and measurement of outcomes

    •       Identify and review technical materials, product information, engineering processes and conduct SME interviews to design content

    •       Ensure application of creative techniques, sound instruction and learning pedagogies for learning effectiveness, outcomes and learner engagement

    •       Review and drive quality of project deliverables including coaching and leading team members as needed

    •       Identify appropriate assessment strategies to assess learning objectives and develop assessment instruments

    •       Coach and direct instructional designers and developers to improve quality and skills

    •       Evaluate learning effectiveness of various IACS learning materials and plan upgrades or new products as required

    •       Manage a portfolio of learning products, ensuring the quality and they are up-to-date

          Pilot learning solutions for instructors (VILT/ILT) or focus groups

    •       Ensure learner experience is delivered as per design by auditing training delivery and/or testing LMS implementation

          Address course feedback as per strategy agreed during feedback reviews.

    Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with other roles in the solutions team.

    Desired Candidate Profile:

    • •      Shows excellent communication skills – written as well as verbal / non-verbal, both in one-on-one and team situations

      •       Demonstrates end-to-end ownership / management of learning solutions development

      •       Experienced in research, experimentation, ideation, conceptualization, prototyping, iteration and testing of learning solutions

      •       Engaged and managed stakeholder relationships on a long-term basis

      •       Managed competing priorities to achieve program deadlines and quality objectives

      •       Works independently and remotely with colleagues in international locations
