As Product Quality and Reliability Assurance (PQRA) intern at Micron Technology, Inc., you will support reliability qualification and quality monitoring of Graphics DRAM memory products, help develop product reliability methodologies, and respond to product deviations as they pertain to quality and reliability. with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure product reliability methods are established and followed, perform risk assessments, and provide support for manufacturing teams regarding reliability issues. You will have opportunities to gain new product knowledge on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Identify issues utilizing knowledge of DRAM architecture (structure and function), semiconductor processes, test methodologies, software, etc.
  • Define Graphics DRAM Qualification requirements
  • Review qualification data and certify that Qualification requirements have been met
  • Cooperatively develop and establish reliability targets and standards with technology development and product engineering teams
  • Review internal quality metric and drive customer DPM to BIC.
  • Data mining and correlation all inline test data. Root cause finding and drive CA/PA.
  • Establish and review ongoing product Quality Metrics
  • Assess deviations for product quality and reliability risks
  • Review and support process Excursion Analysis
  • Communicate violations to defined release/acceptance criteria
  • Communicate issues and corrective actions across all Micron products
  • Develop product reliability tests to assess new DRAM failure mechanisms

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates for this internship will have:

• Coursework in Micro-electronics circuits, VLSI, CMOS design/circuits, Semiconductor materials,

processes, and manufacturing, or related fields.

• Ability to manage time and priorities effectively

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams or with minimal supervision

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Good multitasking and organizational skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Familiarity with Perl, C++, Python, HTML, CGI, or Java a plus

Education:

Pursuing B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Compute Science Engineering, or a related field.
